CME Accreditation

logoeumsThe International Meeting “Ilizarov Readings  ” has been accredited by the EACCME® with 18 CME credits EACCME (the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education) is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS). The aim of a CME system is to assure a high level of theoretic and clinical competences throughout the working life of medical specialists. The EAACI CME Accreditation Committee guarantees that the CME programmes are of a high scientific and educational standard in agreement with the European and American CME systems.

The International Meeting “Ilizarov Readings” is designated for a maximum of 18 hours of European external CME credits. Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Information on the process to convert EACCME credit to AMA credit can be found at www.ama-assn.org/go/internationalcme.

Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognized by the UEMS-EACCME for ECMEC credits are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

The meeting is dedicated to Academician of RAMS, Professor G.A.Ilizarov celebrating the 95th year of his birth, to the Ilizarov Method celebrating 65th anniversary, and to the Russian Ilizarov Scientific Center “Restorative Traumatology and Orthopaedics” celebrating its 45th anniversary.

  • Abstract must include author(s)’ full name, affiliation, city, country, type of presentation, title. Use regular text editor, an abstract must be written in English including no more than 3600 characters to. Write out the full term for each abbreviation at its first use. The abstract should state objectives, describe material and methods used, results and discussion, conclusions. Abstracts will be published an a supplement to the Ilizarov Journal of clinical and experimental orthopaedics (Geniy Ortopedii) free of charge

  • E-posters should be prepared in a standard format. The total file size should not exceed 10 Mb and 10 slides.
  • Each poster presentation must have a title including the title of the paper, author(s), affiliation(s), city and country; then Introduction, Material and Methods, Discussion, Conclusions and the most important references (not more than 10).

Registration fee

There is NO registration fee. Each participant has free access to Conference Hall and Exhibition Area

Award

Transregional nonprofit organization “Association for the Study and Application of the Method of Ilizarov” (ASAMI Russia) is pleased to announce “The best e-posters” award to young researchers aged under 35 years. Winners will receive awards and the best e-posters will be published in the Ilizarov Journal of clinical and experimental orthopaedics (Geniy Ortopedii) that is included in the list of VAK approved journals.

Medical equipment exhibition will take place throughout the meeting.
